This surface element is designed to provide heat to a cooking area on the top of a range, helping ensure consistent and efficient cooking performance. If your range is no longer heating properly, replacing the surface element may resolve the issue. Before beginning installation, unplug the appliance or switch off the circuit breaker to ensure safety. It’s also recommended to wear protective gloves during the process to avoid injury.
