The surface element #318297810 for this Kenmore range, when set on high, shuts off after 3 minutes for about 15 seconds or so and then turns back on. This happens then, every minute or so. It also occurs on every element size setting. The element should stay on when on high. There is no sparking or noise under the element glass. My question is, do you think it is the failure of this part?

Hi William, Thank you for your question. If the element turns off after a few minutes and then comes back on and goes off again, we would recommend checking the control board that controls the element and the element with a multimeter to see which part is causing the issue. We hope this helps!
