The plastic housing from my old light sockets was literally falling apart.
Straight forward repair. I did cut the wires out of the push connector and put them back in a twist connector because that is what I had. The only thing I did wrong was I should have taped the new wires to the old wires when I pulled the old ones out of the hood, so the new wires were in the right place.
