Turned circuit breaker off
Removed cover to gain access to fan control
Removed knob and nut from fan control shaft
Pulled control out from its mounting
Spliced wires as needed used wire nuts to splice wires together
Replaced control to its mounting
Installed nut & knob on shaft
Reinstalled cover < br />Reset circuit breaker
Fan now turns on & off

Turned power off to unit than unhooked wires and removed switch from hood. Installed new switch connected wires as shown than power up
