A simple remove the broken antenna with the use of a screw driver and replaced it with the new one. Total of about 15 minutes.

1Removed handles and side bars
2 removed screws holding case together and split radio cases
3removed screws holding pc board
4 moved pc board and unscrewed antenna which is behind pc board
5 replaced antenna
6 replaced screws in pc board and put radio back together
