Pressure washer thermal relief valve (TRV)
Easy remove & replace process. It worked well for 1 hr of operation. After lunch break it ran for 20 SECONDS and the new TRV FAILED! Replaced it w/a copper plug and the pressure washer works well. A TRV is required to prevent the pump from overheating, when H2O is not moving thru the pump. This is preventable by not letting the pressure washer run when not using the spray wand. That is my fix.

1. removed old TRV
2. replaced w/new TRV
3. it worked fine for 1 hr and I stopped for lunch
4. w/in 20 seconds of restart after lunch, the new TRV failed as well...only cold H2O...no heat!
5. when purchasing the first TRV had ordered two
6. thought about using 2nd TRV, but decided to just plug the threaded op

7. do not plan on installing the 2nd TRV, as the issue is moot*
* I do not let the pump run w/put spraying H2O for more than 1 min so pump does not get hot.
