Basically washer has to be disassemble almost completely to get to the pump.
After the pump is out, remove metal clip holding inlet pipe in place. With little force, carefully remove inlet pipe out and up. With needle nose pliers, remove old valve from pump. Install new valve that came with new inlet pipe. Install new inlet pipe, do wn and in. Little force is required. Make sure the part is all the way in and Install metal clip.
Reassemble washer in reverse order.
To help with repair I recommend to take pictures during disassemble.
To make replacement of the inlet pipe easier, lower portion of the pump can be removed but warning - is under spring pressure and many parts under cover, probably extra hand will be needed.
