My pressure washer won't start unless I hold the trigger down to relieve pressure
Daniel - March 9, 2023

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question. If your pressure washer will not start correctly, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. We recommend checking the thermal relief valve, the detergent suction kit, the filter (injection hose), and the pressure washer hose. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!

The soap and the flow from the pump hose to the soap container has reversed. While the flow should flow from soap container to sprayer hose, the water flows into the soap container.
Randall For model number Ry80940B - October 22, 2023

Hello Randall, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching your model, we would recommend checking the detergent suction kit. Good luck with your repair.

Carefully drilled out the broken end of the suction assembly from the pump while trying not to damage the threads that the new suction assembly would screw into.
Was successful in doing minimal damage to the threads on the pump assembly and, with a little effort, was able to screw the new suction assembly into place with an adjustab le wrench.
Took a while because I really had to be careful not to ruin the threads.

Purchased a pre-owned pressure washer. When I got it home and fired it up,, wouldn\'t you know it!? Water was coming out of the soap suction fitting like crazy. Removed it with an adjustable wrench on to discover the check ball and spring were missing inside the fitting. Found the part on (ereplacements) and a couple of days later I used the same adjustable wrench to install the new check valve! It\'s up and running like a champ now!!

Thanks!

Jeff
