Both of the valves on the bottom of the chemical tanks broke off. Even though this part was called a fuel valve, it was the exact replacement part I needed.

I ordered one part since it was really an unknown. When it arrived and I compared it to the broken valve, it was apparent it was the exact replacement. I put some W-D40 on the rubber grommet and the valve and it slipped right in. I put in a little water to check for leaks and there were none.

I ordered the second valve and i t came in 5 days. The same procedure was used to replace it and it worked.

I have recommended ereplacement parts to several people I know. I would not hesitate to use them again.

On Troy-Bilt 2700 psi pressure washer model # 020568 I was missing on/off valve for soap dispensing container. I used Briggs & Stratton part # 310333GS. It\'s labeled as kit fuel valve, but it fits in bottom of soap container also. No tools necessary, push in by hand. Works great.

The grommet was not damaged, all I need was the valve. I removed the fuel from the tank. Then I pulled what was left of the valve from the grommet. Then I pressed the new valve into the grommet. Works great and no leaks.

Valve was press fit into tank through a grommet, and had a slip-fit attachment to discharge tube. I simply pulled the valve out of the tank and off the tube, and replaced it with the new parts. Very simple.

Both fluid containers valve broke

1. Removed tubing attached to pressure washer.
2. Used drill to remove old rivets holding fluid containers.
3. Removed broken valve from both containers.
4. Clean valve area and containers really good.
5. Sprayed silicone on new rubber grommets and pushed grommets onto containers. Then sprayed silicone onto valve stem and carefully push valve hard until valve sits tightly in rubber grommets. Be careful not to wiggle it to much as you can easily brake the stem on the valve.
6. Reattached the containers with new rivets and replaced the old tubing with new tubing that I had on hand.
7. Poured water into containers and checked for leaks. All is good.

NOTE: Really no need to remove containers, but it was easier for me to do it that way because of my back issues. Plus didn\'t want to worry about fuel and oil spilling out.
NOTE: Why replace the fluid containers valve with fuel valve? Because the valve are the same.
