The pump is the main component which creates the pressure, it can generate up to 2550 PSI. This is an identical replacement for a missing or damaged pump assembly which was installed on the new unit, over time it may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. Keep in mind this durable metal component is sold individually.
