This part is a genuine replacement wand for use with Troy-Bilt, Snapper and Briggs and Stratton pressure washers. It is an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing part that was included with a new unit. One reason you would need to replace the extension is that the threads on the couplings can strip out over time. Another common problem is freeze damage to the fittings. If liquid is left in the sprayer during the winter it can freeze. The frozen liquid will expand, causing the fittings to split and then leak. Keep in mind this high-quality extension is sold as an individual item. Refer to the owner's manual for your equipment to ensure the proper application.
