This is an authentic OEM component from Mirro. The safety valve/functioning (35kpa) is compatible with several pressure cookers. This important component is composed of durable metal and plastic, and is fastened onto the cooker lid. The safety valve/functioning allows the excess air pressure to leave the cooker. This item is sold individually. A pair of pliers may be required for the removal and replacement.
