The metal spindle/gear is one of the main components of the drill that is used to link the motor/pinion and the chuck assembly. This item is available as an individual replacement part.

This output spindle is an OEM direct from DeWALT. The spindle is designed for use with several cordless drills. This component is fitted onto the transmission/clutch assembly, sending power to the drill bit. This item is sold individually. A screwdriver is necessary for the proper removal and installation.
