Product Description

?

This is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for use with Walbo carburetor. By pressing on the purge bulb, it will force fuel into the fuel line from the fuel tank into the carburetor. Once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank in the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. It is made out of rubber and it is sold individually.

Pulled trimmer apart and replaced parts. Pretty simple if you are mechanically inclined. If you don\'t know what you are doing a simple YouTube video will walk you through it. Took me maybe a half-hour to replace both things which included watching the video on how to do it.

Kenneth from Jacksonville, Arkansas

Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
Less than 15 mins
Tools:
Screw drivers
Parts Used:
188-17-1, 952711527
Used phillips head screwdriver and loosened the two screws holding it to the carburetor.
You will want to do this with the engine cold and with the priming bulb facing up and level. Also please note that the bracket that mounts the bulb to the carburetor will only fit one way. If you put it on backwards the screws will not line bac k up properly.

I also replaced my \"bump\" string spool by hand. Mine had worn completely through. I had a hard time finding the right spool locally. eReplacement parts had exactly what I needed! Thanks.
