This is an original part from the Echo manufacturer. The upper drive shaft is designed for use with the Power Pruner Telescoping Shaft. This metal item is fitted inside the main pipe, and securing the upper drive shaft adapter and the drive shaft guide assembly. The upper drive shaft is sold individually. A wrench, pliers and a screwdriver are often needed for making the repair.
