1. Removed old bar and chain
2. Cleaned up old oil and saw dust
3. Applied new chain to bar in correct direction
4. Set bar in place keeping chain properly set in bar and around sprocket
5. Applied cover and tightened cover screw while supporting bar upwards and keeping chain taught

6. Verified proper chain tension and free rotation around bar.
7. Tune up kit per provided instructions (spark plug, air filter, and fuel filter. Check gap on plugGǪit was perfect.
Loosened the tension on the chain
Removed the two nuts holding the bar cover on, and removed it
Removed the worn chain from the bar and sprocket
Installed the new chain on the bar and sprocket
Installed the bar cover
Adjusted the new chain to its proper tension
I used a socket wrench to remove the cover and slid the old chain off the bar and sprocket. Put the new chain around the bar, and used a screwdriver to tighten the new chain.
