This item arrived as expected, and works with my pole trimmer. Do note, the orange portion has a plastic key'd notch, that prevents multiples of these from hooking together. There "might" be a way of grinding down that key with a Dremel, but it probably would get longer than physically manageable, and void any warranty in using the product - I don't advise doing that, but if you have to get a little further, it "may" be do-able.
