This drive belt carries power from the motor to the cutterhead on a compatible 20-inch planer. Replace it if the rubber is cracked, glazed, stretched, or missing pieces. A loose belt may squeal or slip when the planer starts. Check both pulleys for dirt, wear, and poor alignment before fitting the new belt. Disconnect and lock out power before removing the cover. Set the belt tension as shown in the manual, then reinstall every guard before use.
