I took the Joiner head completely out, since I was anticipating replacing with a Shelix Head so the tool list is much longer as is the time to complete. Since it was backordered for several weeks I purchased blades to use temporarily and then as a back up. The blades can be replaced simply by loosening the holding bolts, cleaning out th e canal, screw in the allen wrench screws, and seating the new blades. Once the height on the blade is adjusted with the flat edge, retighten the holding bolt and raise the allen screws until snug to the bottom of the blade. Replacing the blades only shouldn\'t take more than an hour.
