The poly v-belt wraps around the v-pulleys inside the belt cover. It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Makita planers. This part is available as an individual replacement part and is made of plastic. If this part becomes broken or stretched it will need to be replaced and may require a screwdriver during the installation.
