1. Unplugged planer
2. Removed 2 screws holding circle plate on
3. Pulled switch plug out of machine
4. Took picture of how the wires were connected
5. Removed switch from circle plate
6. Put new switch in circle plate
7. Reconnected all wires
8. Screwed plate back into machine
