These replacement carbon brushes are sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. They are an authentic Hitachi parts, not an aftermarket imitation. Carbon brushes help conducting electricity in a an electric motor. This item includes (2) carbon brushes with lead wires and springs attached per order. It is recommended to replace both brushes at the same time. Please note, the brush holders and caps are all sold separately. You will need a screwdriver to replace these brushes.
