Remove top cover of planer. Remove sawdust cover above cutter head. Remove cutter head. YouTube has excellent film of how to do procedure. Only problem was removing two small screws holding head assembly in place. One of the screws stripped, so I replaced them both. eReplacementParts people were very helpful. The job took extra time to complete because the Shelix cutter head would not slide into position with the individual four sided cutters attached to the head. I had to remove 50 cutters to install new cutter head, and then install them when cutter head was seated.
