This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and used in planers made by DeWALT. The pad attaches to the dust shroud and is made out of a thin material. If this item becomes broken it will need to be replaced and may require a screwdriver and a nutdriver during the installation. This is available as an individual replacement part.
