Just a straight up replacement, this was an easy one, but if you need parts this is the place to go, I have repaired all my tools with parts from them.
1. Remove the screws retaining the tabs from the broken hood
2. Lubricate the threads with WD40 Dry Lube
3. Install the new hood and connect the vacuum hose to the adapter
4. Test to confirm the planer is no longer throwing chips everywhere :-)
