This is a genuine replacement part direct from original manufacturer. It fits DeWALT planers. This handle is located on machine's top and serves to adjust thickness. This handle conveniently folds down for storage. It is sold individually. Please note that the yellow/black scale plate disk is sold separately as part # 285986-00 Plate, Scale.
Remove the bolt and washers and the broken handle. Then installed the new handle back on. I then removed the brush caps from the motor, then the old brushes. Installed the new brushes and screwed the brush caps back in. Done
