Need help finding your model number?This metal retaining ring fits into a groove on a shaft to keep nearby parts from sliding out of position. It is used in select planers and other power tools. Replace the ring if it is bent, stretched, cracked, or missing. Check the shaft groove and surrounding washers or bearings for damage before installation. Match the ring to the complete tool model and parts diagram. Disconnect power, wear eye protection, and use the correct snap-ring pliers to prevent the ring from springing loose.
