This is an original replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The screw is found in DeWALT planers. This part is made of metal, and is used to help adjust the height of the machine. 1. Removed outer cover.
2. Locked down planer head about 3\" from the base.
3. Remove chain sprocket and chain at the base of machine.
4. Remove the lifting screws on both sides of the planer head.
