This is an authentic manufacturer approved replacement brush caps. They are specially designed for Ridgid power drives. Brush caps are used to secure the brush in the tool. These caps have external threads that to screw into the opening on the housing of the tool. Be careful when removing and replacing these, they have a tendency to break. This item is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. You would need a flathead screwdriver to install or remove these caps.
