Product Description
?These pins, also referred to as step pins, are supplied by the original manufacturer for use in pipe and bolt threading machines. Each package includes 5 metal pins. These pins are a part of the scroll system, and they are responsible for engaging the dies to create the cutting motion and ensuring consistent thread depth and efficiency. If the pins are worn out or out of alignment, the thread will be uneven, and you may be unable to automatically engage the dies during operation. To access the pins, remove the die head and make note of how the pins are positioned. Use a wrench or screwdriver to remove the retaining screws that hold the pins and carefully remove the pins from the scroll. Clean the mounting surface and insert the new pins in their correct position using your notes. Secure the new pins with the retaining screws and assemble the equipment in reverse order. Screws are sold separately.
