Actually, when changing backing pad, I\'m pretty sure the plastic cover protecting the felt washer and inner workings of sander dropped off without me realizing it. Next time I used sander, I noticed it was missing. So, I checked ereplacement site, looked at diagram, and ordered the cover as well as a new felt washer, as the old one was
... Read more looking a bit chewed up. Since diagram was so detailed, once parts arrived it was simple to install them. Whole task took less than 5 minutes and was simple to perform...just unscrewed new pad, pulled out old felt washer and popped new one in, popped cover into center of pad and screwed pad back on. Whole job couldn\'t have been simpler.
