This genuine part is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for Hitachi grinders. Brushes are utilized to conduct the current in an electric motor which powers the tool. Due to normal use and friction brushes will gradually wear down and eventually will require replacement. This high-quality item consists of a plastic block with attached lead wires and two metal brush holders. Refer to the parts diagram for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, the carbon brushes are not included and are sold separately. A screwdriver will be needed to take apart and reassemble the housing when performing this repair.
