?This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement component which is designed for use with Ryobi nailers and staplers. The no-mar pad is attached to the end of a safety element to prevent the material that it is being used on from getting marred or dented by the pushing lever. It is a advisable to have one or two extra on hand as they do have a tendency to crack and deteriorate over time or simply gets lost. This part is made high-quality black plastic and it is sold individually.

The replacement pad was pliable enough to install by merely using ones fingers to stretch it over the business end of safety yoke element. (There was warm weather when I made the repair)

When attempting to assemble two parts with exacting tolerances (such as a cylinder sleeve into an internal combustion engine block cylinder bore) it is often helpful or necessary to use a difference in temperature between the two parts in order to \"shrink\" one and \"expand\" the other. In this manner, it is possible to fit larger items into smaller.
