It is the part of the unit that drives the staples into the material that is being used. These assemblies do have a tendency to bend or break if not used correctly or if you are driving nails into an extra hard material. This piston is made from high-quality metal and it is sold individually, please note the stem and other components are all sold separately. To help extend the life of a pneumatic tool uses the specified oil in it daily 4-5 Drops will do every time you use it.
