This is an authentic Senco replacement part manufactured for use with fine wire upholstery staplers. The piston and driver are used to push staples into the material being stapled and because the driver makes contact with the staples it can become damaged and would need to be replaced. Replacing the driver and piston is a relatively simple repair that involves removing the back cover and cylinder. This piston and driver assembly is sold as an individual replacement part.
