This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Senco nailers. This is the seals for the firing valve. Over time it will shrink, become brittle and crack allowing for air leaks. At that time it should be replaced. It is made out of rubber material and it is sold individually. Replacing this item you would need hex key/allen wrench and pliers to replace this item.

Air leaking out of gun

Nothing special, My gun was a pro 450 roofing gun and air was coming out of it. The ram would also not retract. I took off the back removed the seal replaced it and installed the back on and tighten the four allen bolts. Works like a charm and the service was great and fast.

removed the four top screws from top head of nailer, pulled out piston, removed seal and replaced.

1. I had never disassembled a nailer before. I looked up my specific finish nailer on erplacementparts.com and referenced a schematic drawing of the equipment.
2. Removed the end cap with Allen wrenches supplied in the original tool case and partially disassembled the nailer.
3. Performed the visual inspection of all the seals and the retainers. Identified two seals and one retainer that was made of a material that was different than the existing o-rings material. The failed seals and retainer were cracked and very brittle. The problem was obvious.
4. Identified parts per the drawing and ordered replacements as identified by part number.
5. Reassembled and the nailer is working like new. :)
Note: As I mentioned I had never worked on a nailer before. After completion of the repair, if I have to repair in the future I would say the Difficulty would be Easy and I could probably perform the repair in less than 30 minutes.

Need to replace all Oring and gaskets , also trigger assembly

Disassemble the back all the way to get cylinder and piston out.
Replaced gaskets and O rings put all back together and Voile!!! Shooting nails like brand new!!
