This part is made of pliable rubber, and is placed in the main body assembly to help absorb the impact of the piston/driver as it punches nails into the work surface. You will require an Allen wrench or hex key when replacing this item. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly. The stop is sold as an individual replacement part.
