?This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Senco nailer. This part acts as a cushion when the piston/driver retracts back into the cylinder after being fired. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart. If the part is damaged or falls out you should replace it. It is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a hex key/allen wrench.

2. remove all parts and chamber.
3. clean out crumbled plastic shrapnel
4. install new stop in chamer
5. insert piston into chamber, and replace in gun housing
6. install new muffler and replace top
