This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Senco nailer. This part acts as a cushion when the piston/driver retracts back into the cylinder after being fired. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart. If the part is damaged or falls out you should replace it. It is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you would need a hex key/allen wrench.

The part solved my problem and was easily installed thanks to diagrams provided by eReplacementParts. Would have given 5 stars except for shipping. Ordered part on 9/17/2019. Paid for expedited shipping but item did not ship next day as advertised and didn't arrive until 9/21/2019. Total cost for the $10.16 part was $18.41 after shipping and tax. Tiny part could have been sent first class mail with one stamp and arrive in 1 or 2 days.

1. remove top of piston chamber
2. remove all parts and chamber.
3. clean out crumbled plastic shrapnel
4. install new stop in chamer
5. insert piston into chamber, and replace in gun housing
6. install new muffler and replace top
Removed four allen head screws to remove top cover. Removed piston, old stop fell out in several pieces. Cleaned out all debris,installed new rubber stop, piston, and top plate.
Removed the top cap of the nail gun and found that there were a few parts that had deteriorated. I ordered the parts and received them in a couple of days. I then removed the parts that needed to be removed and replaced them with the new parts. I then cleaned and oiled the inside of the gun and put it back together. No air leaks and it wo

Disassembled nailer using diagram provided by eReplacementParts. Replaced broken \"Stop\". Reassembled nailer. Nailer works as it should but it now has air leak from top of nailer. Ordered new set of o-rings to solve that problem. Not yet installed.
