This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part that is designed for use with Senco nailers. It acts as a cushion when the piston retracts back into the cylinder after being fired. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart eventually requiring replacement. Please note this durable, high-quality rubber part is sold individually.
Remove the cap assembly from the nail gun
Proceeded to remove the driver, cylinder assembly, core assembly and o-rings
Installed the core assembly, stop then the cylinder assembly, replaced the driver and other o-rings. Oiled the interior of the gun. Then placed the cap assembly back on.
