This is genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Porter Cable nailer. Nose cap is attached to end of the safety element to prevent the material that it is being used on from getting marred or dented by the pushing lever. This part is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. To replace this item you do not need any tools, simply slide it on the safety elements end.
