This is an original Porter Cable replacement part. The washer is designed by the manufacturer for use in an angle nailer. This part is made of metal, and is placed in the nose of the machine to direct the motion of the driver as it punches the nails into the work surface. You may require an Allen wrench when replacing this item. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly.
