An authentic replacement component which is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Porter Cable roofing nailers. It is the wear pad that is secured to the cylinder cap assembly to prevent damage to the main housing. Over time due to normal use it may wear out and break eventually requiring replacement. Remove 1 screw in the head and loosen the other to left the plate up enough to insert wear pad. Repeat for second one making sure you tighten the screws back tight when done.
