This is a genuine Porter Cable part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in Gauge Angle Nailer and Gauge Medium Crown Stapler. The rolled pin is made out of metal and attaches to the quik-release latch. If it becomes broken it will need to be replaced and is available as an individual replacement part.
