This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part, it is specially designed for use with Hitachi nailers. The nose cap is attached to the end of the safety element to prevent the material that it is being used on from getting marred or dented by the pushing lever. It is recommended to have a few xtra on hand as they do have a tendency to crack or simply get lost. This part is made of durable plastic and it is sold individually.
