This is an authentic Hitachi replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with pneumatic nailers. The metal cylinder is used to provide an airtight chamber on either side of the piston to allow the piston to move up and down. This cylinder is available as an individual replacement part, please note a hex driver is needed to replace this part.
