The o-ring fits between the head valve spring and the head valve. It is a genuine item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Hitachi finish nailers. This part is available as an individual replacement part. It is made of rubber and will require replacing if it becomes broken. You may need an allen wrench when replacing this part.
