The shaft ring goes next to the nail guide shaft and is made of hard rubber. This item is available as an individual replacement part. This genuine item is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Hitachi nailers. A set of pliers might be helpful during the installation of this part. It will require replacing if it becomes broken.
