This high-tension bolt in your nailer attaches the magazine assembly to the frame by securing the guard. It is also referred to as a nylock hex socket head bolt. It measures 6mm in diameter and 18mm in length. To determine if the bolt needs replacement, inspect it for signs of damage or wear. Look for visible cracks, stripped threads, or significant deformation. You may notice that the guard feels wobbly or loose, even when the bolt is fully tightened. To replace it, use a socket or wrench to remove the bolt after locating it.
