This is an original DeWALT replacement part. The bumper is designed by the manufacturer for use in finish nailers. This part is made of rubber, and is placed in the machine to absorb the impact of the driver assembly as it retracts, to prevent damage to other components in the machine. You will require an Allen wrench or hex key when replacing this item. It is advisable when removing multiple parts to keep careful track of their order so they can be reassembled correctly. This part is sold individually.
