This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with DeWALT nailers. The purpose of this piston bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it. Watched your how to on you tube and followed instructions. Very easy fix after I watched the video and saw how easy it was to repair, I went ahead and replaced the bumper and everything inside and now I have a complete fresh refurbished air nailer. works just like new and maybe a little better. easy !!!
